SCIA | Looking at a Farmdoc adjusted price from 66 until present, the highest adjusted prices were in the early 70s, second highest 08-13. I farmed through both times. So, most younger guys, 40 and less should see another go around at higher prices.
Kondratieff long wave cycles, in AG land, seem to point to a major top in the mid to later 20s, maybe as late as 33, so if that is true, there will have to be some stimulus that would set off the rise in land prices, either a major drop in input costs or a rise in prices.
Just some thoughts of a tired old man, on a cold winter day, so take them for what you paid for them. | |
