| Most guys farming today will never see the equivalent of prices '5 or 6 years ago' in their farming career..except the really young guys.
$4 corn and 300 beanmeal are not cheap or 'on sale' especially when you look at many end users output prices like ethanol, dairy, and pork. We have been told for the past decade that if you don't like your margin, to figure out a way.. any way possible to get your expenses under control. Wasn't bad advice for me to heed, and may be good advice for many row croppers to consider..... | |
