I think it is what we call CoFlex or co-adhesive tape. Stretchy, sticks to itself. Just be sure if you wrap a break or bad leg......wrap from the bottom up so any blood flow is not pushed to end of the limb to cause swelling and make sure it is not too tight. I usually put what is called a stockingette (like a tube sock) on first so nothing sticks to the tape. If there is an open spot or sore, I put a gauze pad loaded with neosporin on first. Might use a paint stick or light lath as just a bit or reinforcement. But check it often and keep it clean.
