Western PA
I'm pretty sure red to the top (coolant side) black to the bottom (oil side). I suppose you could call reliant and ask. I prefer to put a think coat of RTV on the orings when i seat the liners in as a lubricant/ sealant. How do the liner bores look? any pitting at all i wowuld suggest taking it to a machine shop to get cleaned up.

as for break in i do recomend a break in oil or high zinc additive. Havent heard of it in old tractors but a lot of muscle car guys are taking cam lobes off rebuilt engines from the lack of zinc in new oil. Also run it like you stole it, light putting around for a few minutes to make sure everything sounds ok then load it down and let that turbo seat the rings. Do you have the new oil cooler block?
