I tried the blade like that. Years ago. Just seemed to make it stick in worse. The air space between the teeth makes the mud tip out and start a bit more. I think I will just take an older bucket and cut it back. I have been around the ejector type buckets.They work ,but are slower and not idiot proof. I gotta have idiot proof.
