I saw, maybe in farm show, about a bucket that has part of the back removed. Then the Dipper was added on to to fill in tbe back. When curled, it works like a regular bucket. When rolled back to dump, the extension would end up by the teeth. Without a back it wouldn't hold water, but that might be ok.
I could draw a picture in paint later if you want.
