North Central Illinois | Where do you want me to start? Everything about my 2015 is better than a 1972. Top to bottom and front to back it performs better and is ten times more comfortable. I had what I thought were some really great trucks in the 70's and 80's because they were an improvement over trucks from 20 or 30 years earlier. Something better came along. Same with tractors and combines. Everyone cries about the electronics on newer equipment and how they are junk compared to the old stuff like a 4440 or a 1460 combine. Of course there is the 4020. Every week there is a post wondering why they can't go back to making 4020's again. Our experience with electronics and emissions equipment and been mostly positive. I enjoy spending the day in a new tractor and combine much more than I did the stuff from 30 or 40 years ago. To each their own. The wanting to live in the past on this site just gets old sometimes. | |
