One reason I got away from fall NH3... Yes it was nice but always lost some, and paranoid about having a prevent plant year and the N mostly going to waste. Also figured it would be regulated into oblivion soon anyways.

I think the bulk of the N in groundwater in MN here at least has been working its way into the groundwater for years, that which gets pulled up now could easily have been spread on a field 10 years (or longer) ago. Could be a real fun fest if they keep pulling samples from wells and the levels stay the same or go up, then watch the vise really tighten. Might take a while for those levels to drop too.
