South Central MN | Never made it out to that part of the state but had heard it was good. I have an interesting perspective of the corn crop this year because I was with a small harvesting crew that covered 6 counties in south central mn, and I can tell you what I saw it wasn't there, quarter section pattern tiled every 70 feet barely made 160, field at home place 80 acres, tiled history of manure just made 175, these farms are 200+ on a normal year we saw good yields in parts of fields but I didn't see a single farm that averaged over 180 soil types made a difference yes, but the bad areas pulled the whole average down significantly.
