I have a very hard time believing that corn yield for mn, what I saw and what we averaged on our farm and the surrounding area I thought for sure below 175.
We all know even if USDA doesnt. For those of us that were alive to see 2017, and then to see 2018, know the real truth. I have no issue with the national corn or bean number. I have no issue with the MN bean number. I saw plenty of corn across the state in 2017 and 2018. For every farmer that can tell me they beat 2017 yield I will find 20 other farmers that were 20-30-40+ below. They must have taken a couple hundred thousand acres out of the equation for drown outs to end up at 182. Sure wish I could just erase my flooded spots and raise my average.
