| Well no it would not , dumping the product into the sea would simply cost the importor. A bunch of money, just like Trarrifs do. We are now almost 8 months into this mess and China keeps exporting more and more stuff to the US.
It's time to quit blaming China for the US consumer shortcommings , but it is the easy way out. And anybody who thinks this is going to be over quickly has no working knowledge of Chinese history.
On March 1st the trump admin will announce that they have made great strides and will extend the deadline without raising any more Trarrifs on anything IE kick the can down the ROAD | |
