Dix (Boyd), IL | We have this same setup for about $400 for the antenaes plus some cat5 cabling. We went to a local wireless internet provider in town. They have antenaes that they put on houses to recieve their internet signal in town. We boought two of these two-way radio antenaes, mounted them myself with a simple sat. dish mount that you can pick up at Lowes, and had the tech gut at the internet shop come out to get my settings right on my computers (two different windows platforms or it would have been plug and play). At your house, plug the networking cable from the antenae into you simple router, then at the shop just plug right into your computer (assuming you have just one computer there). All this is doing is bridging the gap between the router and the shop computer. | |
