People want what ever makes them feel good. Right now that is solar power and wind. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Ethanol is solar power. The by products are fuel, animal feed, carbon used for industry and carbon sequestration from the atmosphere . Last time I checked no other energy source can do all those things. As ethanol efficiency and corn yields climb, ethanol will continue to be important, especially when it begins anew as biodegradable plastics.

Ethanol is a lot more than solar power ,its NG for N ,crude oil for diesel fuel , fertilizer, roads, trucking, machinery, ect + energy to run the plant...........its not as "green" as some of us portray.......lot of inputs go into "ethanol"..........for hogs ddg's really are not as good as a soymeal/corn ration and usually ddg's are priced competively with other protein sources.........no energy source--crude,solar,wind,ect. is really "green"...best energy source is hydro electric
