Subject: RE: 8 below wind chill in HRW Wheat Country.

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
I'm just a bit worried about our wheat right now. We got ours in on time. Planting conditions were great. Had good growth this fall. Have had snow cover during the cold in December. Things were going as good as it could.
Since about mid December we have had some pretty extreme temperature fluctuations. We warm for a few days then get cold. Now we have no snow cover and a few days ago we were down to close to 0. The next 4 days our highs will be close to 60. Then next week we are to have several days where highs will barely make it to 30 and lows at night in the mid teens.
Will it make a difference? I don't know. Not really worried but can't be real good for it either.
