Nc Ks.
Its been said the past 3 years that the world is so full of wheat that if we raised nothing it wouldn't matter. But the past two we've had price spike up briefly for what ever reasons, I don't remember. Was around harvest time if I remember right. In my neighborhood, about half the wheat planted was late. I've got some not emerged yet and some that is/(was maybe) a single spike poking through. We lost our snow cover 2 days before yesterday when low was -1. This morning was 7. By Sunday they're predicting 62. Then colder again after that. Maybe it will turn out fine but it has more than one strike against it already. I think we will be in for a spike up in price at some point. Might not be a lot and might be at harvest again, but I think the acres/condition will be noticed at some point.
