Texas panhandle
Having a dairy in the panhandle of texas appears to be a license to print money. the price of milk seems to have nothing to do with their ability to buy land. As the water table drops around them they are moving further away to double crop wheat and corn for silage. It's sad how quickly the water has gone since they moved in. I always figured the subsidies just made up the difference on milk prices but I guess that isn't the case. At least not everywhere.
