Good point on the leave out fertilizer. Most ground around me rarely saw dry fertilizer between 1982 and 2007; couldn’t afford that luxury.
Everything gets planted at $7-$8, I agree. It’s lower that starts questioning whether it does or not. That’s why I think $7-$8 on the board is a fundamental level of support in soybeans. $2.70-$3.20 would be similar in corn.
