Billings, Montana | I am curious about winter wheat and how you manage to apply N amd when. No winter wheat where i am from and it is all No-till spring wheat, 1 pass seeding.
So you Seed WW in fall with P+K and maybe some S placed with the seed. Do you apply any N in the fall? if so how much?
In the spring how do you apply N, i have read somewhere that some use NH3? how does that work into planted crop and not kill some of it? Top dress 28 or 32? float on 46?
