ncia | Do yourself a favor and forget the vertical auger. theyare expensive, take a big motor and are a PIA with long term maintenance issues. just get a horizontal unload. Also, I just emptied a 36' 9 ring (32" rings) bin last Friday WITH a Hutchinson carry in sweep. I use that sweep in another bin and it cost less than 1/10th of a power sweep. just my opinion.
I put in 17% corn and this bin has a 7.5 hp fan. I know it is too small, but top was 17 and slowly went went down thru 16's to 15.5 in the bottom 1/3. I ran the fan about 3 weeks til it got really cold. I did not have it leveled. Youshould be able to take out 1 load in a peaked bin to remove fines and make scooping somewhat level easier.
I think chadlit is right about bin capacity
