Morris, IL | I have tested off and on every year since started running precision and now agleader monitor only setups. Never has hurt to run too much. We very rarely push ground conditions, i’m a slow poke, and we farm some pretty good dirt compared to most very lucky.
Never have tested no ground contact but why should I set planter for depth that’s why have this setup. I have 30$ a row invested in air bags and I forget what agleader cost quite a bit I remember.
Sort of interesting when start looking at downforce really shows what works and doesn’t as far as tillage before you dig and see for yourself. The nice looking full tillage seedbad is crap and strip till is nice and mellow.
