Sw mn | A guy I know banded his dog. The first day the dog licked his nuts and the second day the dog was licking his nuts and started to chew on them but would catch a working nerve now and then. The third day the dog chewed them off and ate them. But when he chewed them off the band come off and it was holding the skin together. So there was about a four inches round hole in the hide where the band was. It took about four months of licking himself before the area healed up. And for those four months the dog basically did nothing but lay by the front door licking himself.
