My sister and I amputated a tomcats leg when we were kids. The tomcat had broke his back leg below the joint. My sister held it in a gunny sack while I used a pair of hoof nippers to cut the bone. Cat lived a long time and could run pretty fast. He was always friendly to me. I left his balls alone. Might have been a diiferent story.
