Subject: How big of a deal is gauge wheel arm slop in Case planters?

The Case 1250 I bought on auction has a fair amount of slop between the gauge wheel arms and the studs they pivot on. I'm more familiar with John Deere planters. Gauge wheel arm slop is a bad deal on them in my conditions and it's not uncommon for too much slop to cause plugging as dirt and residue is not cleaned off the openers and ends up getting wedged in the wrong places.Fortunately for JD planters you can totally eleminate this issue with RK Products (now Copperhead or something?). But on this Case planter, I'm not sure what I should do or if I should do anything. Maybe since it's trailing it tries to run closer to the openers so it's no big deal?
