West Central Indiana		There is a 4955 and a 4960 on two farms close to mine. Both of them have had major tranny work.

But, both were bought used by my neighbors....and may be the luck of the draw.

I have heard the powershift were more dependable in smaller horse power Deeres.

I have never owned a John Deere of that vintage...so I myself have no experience with them.
