Vermeer 604N. Built heavier than Deere or New Holland.

In fact the New holland will look like a tinny beer can next to the Vermeer.

Vermeer runs oversize bearings and heavy duty pickup teeth. I don't know what a person would improve on one. And they're about 6-8K less than deere.

vermeer has the most iron i agree, but i always thought they were overkill and ugly, in our soft hay meadows even my 568 deere is plenty heavy, I think new holland will make the best shaped bale outa any baler but ive been selling alot of hay outa my 568 and getting semi load average bale weights in the 1700's. 14,000 bales on my 2012 568 and not afraid to double that bale count if I have too.

We've got 28000 bales on our jd 567 and its still going! Need to decide on a year or so if we're going to re skin the bale chamber and put new belts on it or sell it.
