I personally doubt there is that much "honor" to convicts life, or morals for that fact. I don't doubt they like to beat & kill in prison, but I think the attackers just use the child abusers as agreed upon targets.

If they ran out of abusers, they'd probably start on car thieves. Maybe it was different once upon a time, but not now.
