Ocean freight companies don't want to have their ships sit & wait"? Then why is it that there are 50-70 bulk carriers sitting at anchorage off two Brazilian ports at the moment and some of them have been for some time. It's not unusual for them to sit a month or more this time of year just to hold their position in line waiting for the first beans to move to the coast.
Why would they do that when they know that there are plenty of beans a New Orleans and elsewhere on the Gulf Coast?
