Well, apparently China doesn't need our soybeans all that much. Despite having reportedly purchased at least 3.5 MMT since the truce, they've only loaded out two ship loads, 68,000 MT the week of 1/10 and 70,000 MT the previous week.
For China needing so much soybean, they sure don't seem to be in any great hurry to get it there.
Meanwhile there is a modest uptick in bulk carriers at anchorage outside the two Brazilian soybean loading ports.
Does this mean that the US has become the fill only at the last resort supplier?
I was thinking that we had an opportunity to get back into the game, the supply and demand numbers certainly suggested that but maybe not.

Is it possible that the weakening Chinese economy has knee-capped our chance to export beans? Won't that be ironic.
