Subject: Foliar Feeding Potash

Cedar Bluff, AL
Does anyone know of a good way to foliar feed Potash/Potassium Nitrate on cotton. From everything I've been able to find says. Use 10lbs of dry potash material and desolve it into 10 to 12 gallons of water. Which should be = to about 4.4lbs of actual Potassium Nitrate/acre. That seems like a lot of material/acre. How do you keep it suspended in the solution tank. And how do you keep from stopping up your tip strainers. I have a John Deere 6500 sprayer.
