S is mobile similar to N, so if you need n you need s. Plus you can benefit from some n stabilization as well. We look at the soil test for o.m., but dont believe the tests represent s well at all so we dont consider that result. Will figure on what should mineralize and then what is needed to make our yield goal, and apply as a percent of n.
