Did it for a couple of years with no issues at all. Some will say to leave a mark from time to time and make sure your spacing is still good. As far as shut offs I took more time getting the settings entered in correctly ( distance from receiver to seed drop, etc.) and was very pleased. Sf3000 receiver, precision planting everything else
