That to me is where I would like to have the planter shut off. Another 4-6 seeds would be perfect. I run into all different theories on this. Some guys want it to stop right at the last headland row, others want it to stop somewhere between the last and second to last row. My personal theory is just enough room for the snout on the corn head to get through. I don’t want a gap that lets weeds grow, but I don’t want them right against each other either.


I agree with this. ^^^^

I ran SF1 for years, worked great. You just need to plan ahead. I would drop the marker every few passes and on larger fields I would not plant all of my second pass of headlands right away. I only had issues if I did not finish the field the day that I planted my headlands, they would drift over night.
