johnny skeptical - 1/13/2019 09:25 No just coc rotation, and to a lesser extent cos rotation, got 40 years of soil samples to prove it. We don't all live and farm in Kansas.

And during those 40 yrs, you always used the same lab, and the lab never changed methods? And sampling was always to the same depth.

I can see changing from soybeans to corn would slow the decline of SOM, but actually increasing it while still plowing seems a bit unlikely given all the controlled studies I've read.

It is my turn to be skeptical ;-)
