Read this before, probably one explanation for how we can still have 5%+ OM here among others, but to me ties it more to the health of the soil than to how much tillage is done.

Kind of like comparing a field that is no-tilled, but for example corn and chopped for silage every year, not much returned to the field, and no covers planted vs. one with diverse rotation, cover crops, but tillage.
