Dad and I together are 1500ish acres. him and mom are around full time.

I’m not necessarily worried about being the first in the field to say I’m first in the field. But my issue is my 12 hour shifts cause me to get little farming done when I’m on so if I can cheat a day or two ahead it has the possibility of saving me a week or two if the rains fall against me.

We have used Simmazine and 24D in the fall on stubble and been extremely happy.

Trying to talk dad into a larger corn planter so we get corn in less stressed and start on beans right away also...

We need to get a lottery pool going so we can quit our town jobs and just loose money farming in comfort !

I agree, but I tell my co-workers “one billion is not enough to buy some farm ground”...so the pool has to be over 1 billion before I’d even play!

We are going the cheap route here and using roundup and 24d on bean stubble.
