My Dad and I both bought 4450’s near the end of production, both ordered within 10 days but different dealerships. His tractor was delivered about 60 - 90 days before mine. The engine in his was much quieter and smoother, mine was one of the last 50’s built and had the engine updates for 55, cold started better, noisy rattle at idle but more responsive and we thought a little better on fuel - would look for a 55 but either were good tractors.

By the way you talk, it would sound like you actually had a 7.6L (6076) in your tractor, and your Dad had the 466. (6466)

If this is true, that's a new one for me!!
