If you have horses they are going to chew on wood. About only way is build steel pens. Try and keep selenium salt in front of them helps. Son has one saddle horse that rubs tears big branches out of a few old apple trees we have. I look down and he will be chasing other horses with it in his mouth. Just like a bunch of little kids. I've had cribbers and they never get over it. I had one old saddle horse as a kid, he would stand at a fence post and crib on it all day. I tried a crib collar I made back in the 70's never seemed to stop him.
