Tuscola, IL | We usually put on a monitor clinic separate from the combine and planter clinics. I actually prefer the smaller crowd that is there just for the clinic and not the meal. Probably the best one was when I was at a booth and we sorta directed customers through the different booths and then on to the meal. This gave people a chance to ask questions, and we had a monitor setup at the booth for ‘hands on’ explanation. I really feel like the guys who get the most out of a clinic are the ones who stick around at the end and ask specific questions. Maybe hey heard something in the presentation that triggered the question. But, when it’s just myself up there talking, it gets pretty generic. When someone comes up and says ‘how do I do .....” that’s when people are actually getting something they can take away from it. I’ve found it somewhat hard to have a precision clinic that isn’t over the head of half the room and putting the other half to sleep. Some guys come in wanting to know how to set up their grower/farm/field structure and others want to do something more advanced like exporting data, sharing guidance lines or using accu turn. | |
