I would think you would avoid those places at all costs. If you are forced to eat there because of a meeting or something just take 1 plate and put a modest amount of food on it. Then you should be able to look up the calorie count for 1 serving of the things on your plate. And of course, no 2nds, no rolls dripping with honey butter and no dessert. It would be easier not to enter the door to begin with.
