Subject: Avoid Sauces

Northern Illinois
often at all you can eat deals the food is higher in calories and carbs than you would normally eat. Like at church potlucks or family gatherings I avoid food with sauces. Green beans are fine. It is the green beans with cream of mushroom soup and onion straws that get you. Fruit is good. Fruit in juice is bad. Meat and potatoes in moderation is ok. Meat and potatoes with gravy is bad.

I think it would be next to impossible to count calories if you piled on foods that you just know have extra calories added to the base food.
