Nebraska expects championships every few years, that's why they change up if they know they won't get there in their current situation. Iowa is happy with 8-4 seasons with a few 10 and 2 sprinkled in every 50 yrs. Don't get me wrong, I like Ferenz and his continuity and integrity but he is not the guy to win championships. His own admission is that the fans should be satisfied with what they have.
I hope Nebraska keeps the same attitude.
A new coach every 4-5 yrs seems to be working well.

Since 2000 (his second year at Iowa after inheriting a very depleted squad) Kirk has a record of 151-91
Over the same years, the 5 coaches Nebraska has had have a cumulative record of 154-91
So while you may be trying win more games than you think Kirk Ferentz is capable of, the fact is, you're not.
