you keep conflating the years. when iowa went 12-2. they played an easy schedule. now when they went 8-4(?) this year, it was more difficult, but still not incredibly so. Next year will be the test actually. replace maryland with michigan and things get interesting. add in tosu somewhere, and it gets real interesting.
