Lancaster, OH | I don't ask for this here often because I see so many that have far greater challenges that us.
My mother passed away last week and we had a great visitation and funeral. It was oddly joyful for me because she had been in such bad shape and had not even a sniff of the kind of life she waned to have. Releasing her to her new home in Heaven was truly a blessing.
My request is for wisdom and patience. I am the executor and I have one sister to deal with that can be very quick tempered and demanding. Just yesterday she asked if mom had said anything about helping her son get a car. I had not and there was nothing in writing so I had to tell her that we could advance him the funds and that it would come out of her 50% just like Mom's desire to help my son with his wedding was not written down and, therefore, not a consideration in the estate.
I know many of you have been through this and under much tougher circumstances. I'm asking for prayers for wisdom and patience.
