Nw Iowa
The problem is when you charge you take on even more liability. You are now running a for profit business. Minnesota would help hunters out a lot more if they would have a no fault for land owners. Somebody is hunting your land and shoots themselves in the foot or trips over a old fence , landowner cannot be held liable. In addition hunters would need signed permission slip. In return land owner would not charge hunter.
I am not against hunters in any way but I want to know who is on my property and that I am not going to get sued. Trying to post property is a joke because signage has to be every couple of hundred ft to stand up all around property. Buffer strip is another attempt at a government land grab.
