Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
I hate to sound all conspiracy theory, but it one of the ways our private property rights are being eroded.

Remember 99% of the population doesn't own an acre. Private landowners shouldn't be allowed to either in their minds. Controlling water, land, wildlife, etc. The environmentalists and socialist have done a pretty good job getting Ducks Unlimited, etc to help them out in this regard.

No, I'm not a nutjob, just live in a state with more of a rural/urban divide than most. So maybe it's more prevalent. But I can assure you part of the idea is they don't get to own land and control hunting, what gives you the right too?
