30 years ago I tried planting set a side acres to a pheasant friendly mix to attack birds and charge $50 to hunt. Was cuss at a lot, I stop when machinery was getting vandalized. Wasn't worth the pain. Easier to just let friends and neighbors hunt for free.
If more hunters would pay $500 there would still be tree lines and fence lines left for hunting.
