South Georgia | I would prefer to try a cloud backup service for all the stuff I want to protect, but we don't have any 'real' internet options at the shop. My internet there is limited to the hotspot on my phone, which uses data that the nice people at Verizon charge much money for. Otherwise I think that would be ideal.
Did some googling this afternoon, and played around with AOMEI backupper (I think is what it's called). I went ahead and ordered 2 portable hard drives, I'm going to try your first suggestion. Maybe I'll remember to swap them out with some level of regularity. Might have to set up a reminder in my calendar.
