I like automatic things too, that's why my offsite backup is in the cloud.  I use OneDrive from Microsoft.   My documents and pictures are there in case we have a disaster and lose all my copies of my important stuff.  

I get a free terabyte of storage with MS Office Home 365.  This cost me about $60 per year, but I get to install it on 5 devices.  I can also share it with 6 people and they can install it on 5 devices each.  They too get a terabyte of storage free. Up to 30 installs and 6 terabytes of storage for $60.  That's pretty cheap.
