Subject: A slightly different backup question

South Georgia
All of my office stuff is on an external hard drive in my office. I know that I need backups, and I do backup a couple of irreplaceable things to 'the cloud,' but even so, if anything happened to my external hard drive (or if the office burned down, whatever), it would be one heck of an inconvenience. However, even if I had the best of intentions, I'm not about to carry another hard drive in and out every week or whatever to back things up to.

So I had this idea...

Does anybody make such a thing as a wireless backup drive deal that runs on 12VDC (or could recharge via usb) that I could leave in my truck, which would connect to my office network (which only consists of my computer, printer, and router) so that I could somehow set it up that whatever folders I wanted would automatically backup whenever my truck was parked in range of my office router?

That would really be a good thing. I did a little Googling on the subject, and I think this may be possible, but it's all over my head.

Thanks for any help,
Adrian
