Kalona, IA | As for the slipping separator belt, I let a friend use my for sale 1688 this fall and he put a new spare sep. belt I had on hand on as the old one had chunks missing.
Within a short time the new belt was already separating lengthwise as the worn pulley was cutting too deep into each groove, thus damaging the "backing" on the belt. Don't know if the problem is the drive pulley or the driven pulley, or both.? |
